SCS Spring Meeting 2026

The SCS Spring Meeting is a one-day symposium and provides a high-quality program with national and international speakers on a certain topic. The topic of the 2026 symposium is Sustainability in Chemistry with Green Approaches and Innovative Synthesis.

The one-day conference, entitled «Catalyzing Change: Sustainability in Chemistry with Green Approaches and Innovative Synthesis», is organized as part of the 2026 Swiss Chemical Society Spring Meeting. The event will bring together leading scientists, including Bettina Lotsch, Susumu Kitagawa, Jeremiah Johnson, Eva Hevia, Francesco Stellacci, Miriam Unterlass, and Metin Sitti, to explore how transformative ideas in chemistry can drive sustainability from the molecular to the materials scale. The meeting will highlight emerging strategies in green synthesis, molecular design, polymers, and advanced materials, showcasing how change truly starts at the molecular level and extends to innovative functional systems. It aims to inspire collaboration across disciplines and encourage the next generation of chemists to catalyze a more sustainable future.

Registration and abstract submission is open now.
